Drawing on his successful experience owning the renowned Grand Prix magazine, Dr. Prajin Eiamlamnao conceived the idea of organizing a motor show in Thailand. He organized the first motor show, MOTOR SHOW ’79, occupying a limited area of 16,200 square meters, marking the beginning of Thai motor shows. Held from May 2-6, 1979, the event was graciously opened by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. The proceeds from the 3-baht entrance tickets were donated to the Duang Prateep Foundation.
